WF&J Welcomes Three Summer Associates

Pottsville, PA – Williamson, Friedberg & Jones is welcoming three summer associates into its 2024 summer program at the law firm. Each of the summer associates will be participating in real-life encounters with clients and matters spanning multiple practice areas.

JESSICA GONZALEZ
Jess is a returning summer associate for the law firm and has already made a major impact on her peers and WF&J clients. Jess is an incoming third-year law student at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA. Throughout her time at Widener, Jess has worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic, participated as a Student Bar Association 1L Mentor, and volunteered at a pro bono legal name change clinic. Through her role as a summer associate, Jess has worked on various criminal and civil matters, which includes her diligent work assisting Atty. Doug Taglieri on an appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Through her role as a summer associate in 2024, Jess will continue to hone her skills in dealing with complex civil and criminal matters. Outside of her professional life, Jess enjoys volunteering, spending time with friends and family, fishing, and playing video games. Welcome back Jess!

Kallie is a rising third-year law student at Penn State Law in University Park, PA. During the 2023-2024 school year, Kallie served as the Criminal Justice Society’s Treasurer and helped plan and execute the organization’s Criminal Justice Reform Conference. Through her role as a summer associate, Kallie will be exploring practice areas that include: family law, estate planning, real estate and civil/criminal litigation. Prior to entering law school, Kallie served as a middle/high school social studies educator for approximately eight years in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Outside of her professional life, Kallie enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her son. Welcome Kallie!

Griffin is a rising second-year law student at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA. Griffin also attended Penn State University Main Campus while majoring in Political Science & Philosophy. While at Penn State, he was a member of the Schreyer Honors College where he wrote his Honors Thesis on Factors and Conditions Influencing Preferences for Conservation Efforts and Policy. Through his role as a summer associate, Griffin will be exploring practice areas that include: family law, estate planning, real estate and civil/criminal litigation. Outside of his professional life, Griffin enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and reading. Welcome Griffin!
