About Lori
Lori A. Schafer Guzick, Esquire, is a Partner with WFJ Law and President of Penn National Abstract Services, Inc., the firm’s title insurance company. A lifelong resident of Schuylkill County, Attorney Guzick has devoted more than 35 years to serving her clients with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. She is known for her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate complex and emotional legal matters with confidence and understanding.
As a Licensed Title Agent, she writes for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title Insurance Company, providing comprehensive title and closing services through Penn National Abstract Services, Inc.
Attorney Guzick also serves as Solicitor for the Schuylkill County Prothonotary’s Office.
Guz’s Charitable Project
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Attorney Guzick is the co-founder of Guz’s Charitable Project, established in memory of her nephew, David Guzick, who was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash caused by a distracted driver in 2013.
Since 2013, Attorney Guzick has partnered with the Highway Safety Network to share “Dave’s Story” with high school students throughout Schuylkill County and neighboring areas. The program offers a raw and emotional account of the days following David’s death and the profound effect on her family, emphasizing the devastating consequences of distracted driving.
In 2018, Guz’s Charitable Project received the Highway Safety Award from the Pennsylvania Highway Safety Office in recognition of its outstanding contributions to public safety education.
