About J.T.
Attorney J.T. Herber III is a Pennsylvania litigation attorney with extensive experience in business and corporate litigation, personal injury, general civil litigation, and estate planning.
His civil litigation work includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes, disagreements among business owners (a/k/a business “divorce”), construction disputes, estate litigation, commercial and residential landlord-tenant issues, collections, and other matters.
With a comprehensive background in both civil and criminal law, Attorney Herber brings a unique perspective and tenacious advocacy to all his cases, representing clients in state and federal courts throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania.
Attorney Herber also frequently serves as local counsel for regional and national law firms in litigation matters, and is well-versed in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
Attorney Herber previously served as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA), where he honed his trial skills by prosecuting a vast range of criminal offenses. His experience as an ADA covered everything from minor violations like shoplifting to serious felonies, including major drug violations and aggravated assault. He managed these cases from the initial preliminary hearing through both jury and bench trials and appeals.
J.T. Herber III is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys travel, cooking, and fishing.
Attorney Herber primarily practices out of the firm’s Pottsville, Pine Grove, and Orwigsburg offices.
